After you enable the 'Automatically save PDF file to a file' option, all documents sent to Microsoft Print to PDF printer would be saved to a target file. If you have multiple documents sent to Microsoft print to PDF printer one by one, the target file would be overwritten or appended or renamed or skipped again and again. The strategy for handling existing files in the target folder is determined by the option chosen in Duplicate Files (read the Duplicate Files section for more information).

The target file is not immediately created. It is created after you print your document to Microsoft Print to PDF printer.

Please be aware of the folder write access permission issue. Before you specify a target file here, make sure that the folder containing the file is accessible by Print to PDF Toolkit Pro software. An easy way to do so is to set the folder to be accessible by 'Everyone'.

For example, you specify C:\PDFCache\output.pdf as the target file, please make sure that C:\PDFCache is accessible. Otherwise, the output.pdf file would not be created.
